Ever heard of Tim Curry?

When I got the call for this one, I said to my wife...do you know Tim Curry? (I'm not the best with celeb names) ...and her response was YES, and so do you! Turns out I know him from Home Alone 2, it's one of my all time favorites. I used to watch it all year round but now it's reserved for Christmas, like normal people.

Well, apparently Tim Curry in this other film called The Rocky Horror Picture Show, written by the guy from The Crystal Maze game show from the 90's! Tim Curry has recently released his new book Vagabond and this night at The Screen on the Green / Everyman Cinema in Angel was a celebration of this book (and Tim himself). His health hasn't been the best over the past few years, and as much as he wanted to join in the celebrations he was unable to make it on health grounds. He did however record a special video for the crowd which was shown before the film.

Here's a few shots from my night celebrating with Tim, Penguin Random House, Everyman Cinema and the cult following that showed up in their little maid outfits.

The lovely people from Heywood Hill bookshop in Mayfair were on the scene selling copies of Vagabond - hope to cross paths photographing events with them in the future. Take a look through the mini gallery of the night below.
