About Me
Somerset based wedding photography, working throughout the UK and beyond - creating honest, caring and thoughtful imagery for couples who are looking for documentary style wedding photography.
What keeps me going?
When it comes down to it, this isn't really about me at all. But choosing a wedding photographer means choosing someone you'll spend a surprising amount of your wedding day with, so it's probably worth knowing a little about who's turning up with the cameras.
Most people would describe me as laid-back, easy-going and calm under pressure. Weddings have a habit of throwing the unexpected at everyone involved, and after photographing them for years I've learned that the best approach is usually to go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
One of my favourite things about this job is meeting people. Every wedding introduces me to different families, different friendships and different stories. Building a genuine connection helps people relax, and when people are comfortable, photographs tend to shine that bit brighter.
Weddings are packed with personality. The nervous excitement before the ceremony. The hugs that last a little longer than expected. The terrible dance moves after a few drinks. The moments everyone remembers and the moments nobody notices happening.
No two weddings are ever the same, and that's exactly why I still love photographing them. My role isn't to choreograph the day or constantly pull you away from it. It's to merge in with the celebrations, pay attention to what's unfolding around me, and create images you’ll truly cherish.
