Event Photography
Taking you beyond the crowd, bringing the atmosphere home.
A photograph can take you back in an instant. To the middle of a field. A packed room. Behind the scenes. The edge of a stage. The anticipation before the lights went down — like you never left.
Keeping that feeling alive. Since 2011
A Documentary Style That Brings Events to Life
One of the reasons I've never grown tired of event photography is the variety. One week I might be photographing a book launch, the next a festival, a conference or a campaign shoot. Different people, different places and a different story every time. That's what has kept the job as interesting as the day I started.
Moments at events only happen once, which is why experience matters. It's about arriving prepared, adapting when plans change and staying focused often in the middle of busy, fast-moving environments. The camera is only part of the job; knowing what to expect and how to react is just as important.
Over the years, my work has been recognised by the British Photography Awards and the Event Photography Awards, where I’ve been a finalist across multiple genres. These honours reflect my commitment since 2011 to producing photography that tells a story – whether that’s a live band commanding the stage, a crowd lost in the music, or the candid interactions that bring events to life.
For me, event photography isn’t just about technical skill – it’s about people. I take time to build meaningful connections with clients, performers, guests and fans so people feel more comfortable with me around with a camera in hand. This creates a relaxed atmosphere and allows me to capture natural, storytelling images that reflect the real spirit of the occasion.
In the world of event photography, timing matters. Whether it’s meeting press deadlines, supplying images for social media, or delivering assets for print, I understand the importance of reliable turnaround times. I’ll work closely with you to ensure your images are ready exactly when you need them.
